OUR STORY

At Kambio, I work alongside grassroots organizations to understand their values, listen to their communities, and help tell their stories with clarity and authenticity. Every organization’s experience is unique. My role is to help you communicate yours and connect with funding opportunities that support your mission.
OUR MISSION
At Kambio Grant Consulting, we work alongside you to drive meaningful change in your community without changing your identity.
I know what it means to lead a small but mighty nonprofit and to balance the urgency of today’s needs with the resources tomorrow requires.
I called Northwest Colorado home for 25 years. It is where I built relationships, raised my family, and led a grassroots nonprofit. These are experiences that continue to shape my work today.
As an immigrant, a bilingual and bicultural professional, and a former nonprofit executive director, I bring both professional knowledge and lived experience to my partnerships. I understand the commitment it takes to serve a community while navigating limited resources, competing priorities, and cultural, linguistic, and systemic barriers.
My approach combines firsthand nonprofit leadership experience with education in language, organizational leadership, and facilitation. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Translation and Interpretation from Ricardo Palma University and completed Harvard Business School Online’s Organizational Leadership certificate program in 2026.
I founded Kambio in 2024 to help organizations build capacity and deepen their community impact while creating more space for my family. Today, that commitment connects my personal story with the missions of the organizations I support.

OUR APPROACH
The strongest stories begin with listening.
Our partnership starts with learning about your organization: the community you serve, the strengths you bring, and the goals you are working toward.
Together, we translate that understanding into thoughtful funding strategies and authentic proposals, keeping your mission and community at the center.
I intentionally work with a limited number of clients so I can provide direct, personalized support. This gives me the time to understand your organization, stay connected to your priorities, and work closely with your team throughout the grant process.

My past board service informs Kambio’s partnerships with experience in philanthropy, healthcare, and community leadership.
My understanding of immigrant communities is informed by lived experience, professional service, and formal training. These experiences help me listen with cultural understanding and support organizations in communicating their work with clarity and respect.
I am currently a member of the Northwest Colorado Grants Collective, a network of grant writers who come together to learn about funding opportunities, collaborate, and connect with funders.
